We are pleased to welcome Ann M. Alves as the most recent addition to our firm.  Ms. Alves received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Boston University, and her law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center, competed in various national trial advocacy competitions, and was recipient of the Archibald A. Murray Public Service Award.

Ms. Alves comes to us with over three years experience as an Associate Attorney to Winkler, Kurtz, Winkler & Kuhn, LLP, where she represented clients in matrimonial and Family Court matters.  Prior thereto, she was employed as a Family Court Attorney by the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, where she handled hundreds of contested child support cases, as well as child custody and family offense proceedings.  During her time with the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Alves appeared in court on a daily basis, where she not only honed her trial skills but negotiated favorable settlements.     

Ms. Alves is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, and is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and American Bar Association.
